moodbox is one of the prototypes I’ve worked on for my Introduction to Design, Use and Interaction course.

The theme I chose was sharing musical experiences. After data gathering through an interview with a dance choreographer and analysing the transcript, I ended up focusing on the need of expressing feelings through music and dance.

moodbox is a modernized jukebox in which you can play music based on your mood. The mood selector is based on Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions. Controlling music playback is done with one button, based on modern earphone controls.

The animation is made using Sketch with Anima Toolkit.

TIME FLIES is a prototype I made for the Oslo School of Architecture and Design’s 2018 entrance exam.

The task was to make something that represents my interpretation of the word ‘time’. It could be “special moments, repetition, everyday situations or bigger events.”

TIME FLIES is made of a quartz clockwork mounted to a square canvas. The second hand is painted white to make it less visible and for the little fly to pop out. The fly is a printout, carefully cut on the edges. The minute hand is removed entirely because, well, time flies.
